Week two - “Travel Essentials”

Since last week I went to Chicago for the weekend, I figured this week we could focus on things that make my life easier when traveling.

5. Beis

Okay so I’m not usually all about hyping up celebrity brands but Shay Mitchell did the damn thing with her practical luggage line. The attention to detail on each product is actually insane. I have a few of her bags but my favorite is the carry on roller bag. It has 4 wheels, a hard shell, double zippers to expand, and a little cushion thing on the handle. There are so many other great details too. I absolutely love it and I got it for myself and my mom. It’s great for yourself or to gift. Use the button below to shop with my referral code and get a discount. This is not a purchase you will regret.

4. Delta Rewards

Omg idk how I did not know about this being such a Delta snob but Lyft and Starbucks are partnered with Delta. There are other partners too but these are two that I use a lot already so to get points for doing things I already do is incredible. Lyft gives you 1 point for 1 dollar spent and double for airport rides. I’m still trying to get my Starbucks account password so I haven’t linked those yet. I’ll report back lol

3. Nonnina Chicago

This restaurant was soooooo good. My coworker had been shitting in my for not knowing anything about Italian food but I think I redeemed myself with this meal. Literally everything we ordered from here was incredible. My pasta had truffle and an egg yolk on top. It was stunning.

2. Dagne Dover Bag

Steph got me this bag for my birthday a few years ago and it’s my favorite bag ever it’s so comfy and stretchy and versatile. Also, the color is so cute. They have so many options. I don’t know why but my favorite part is the zipper and also this little strap to hook your keys onto. I hate not being able to find my keys in my bag when I’m getting home so this is a game changer.

1. Automatic Pet Feeder

This thing allows me to travel for a few days without worry. I can fill it up with Lola’s favorite dry food and just schedule it to feed her however many times a day I want and even do an ad hoc feeding remotely. This also helps me because before, even when I was home, I would just leave food out for her all the time and she could just eat whenever she wanted. Let’s just say Lola has gotten a little heavier. Listen, I’m not shaming her. I have also put on some pounds hahaha maybe I need an automatic feeder too… but I’m all seriousness, this has helped control how much she eats and she actually gets so excited when she hears the food hit the bowl. She rushes over to feast on it.
